HILDALA'S STORY
In Hilda's Footsteps – a story that begins in the 19th century
Hildala is named after Hilda, the first resident of the house.
Hilda was born in the late 19th century and lived her entire life on these lands in Kihniö, on the shores of Lake Nerkoonjärvi. She lived a simple but rich life, traces of which are still visible in the walls, courtyard and atmosphere of Hildala. Hilda's everyday life, traditions and strength still live on in this old farmhouse as part of its story and spirit.
The original farm has been lovingly renovated for accommodation and event use, respecting the old. The main building, courtyard sauna, hot tub, barn and private beach cottage form a unique whole, combining history, aesthetics and peace. Each building, barn and sauna tells its own story and invites you to be a part of it.
Hildala is not just a place, it is an atmosphere, a moment and a memory that you can experience for yourself. It is an experience that is born from peace, closeness to nature and togetherness. Here you can stop, celebrate, be inspired or breathe in your own way.
